Privacy
Kyle's Canvas places images into a canvas in your browser. The image you choose is used on your computer for preview and export; the image itself is not sent back to Kyle's Canvas by the converter or template workflow.
Browser-side workflow
When you open a tool, Kyle's Canvas serves the page code and template settings. Your browser uses that code locally to read the selected image, draw the preview, and create the file you choose to download.
Serves HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and template data.
Runs the code locally and draws the canvas preview.
Opened by the browser for preview and export.
Created only when you choose to export a finished image.
Your image work happens in your browser on your computer. Kyle's Canvas uses local storage to remember saved templates in that browser. If you switch browsers or devices, those saved templates will not be there unless you export them first.
When a page loads, your browser requests site files from Kyle's Canvas or its hosting and security providers. Those ordinary requests may include technical data such as IP address, browser details, requested URL, and security signals. They are separate from the chosen image file used by the image tools.
Saving a template stores a template description in your current browser. It contains the layout, text, dimensions, colors, and export settings needed to rebuild the template. It does not contain the image you placed into the canvas.
A template link can share simple template settings, such as dimensions, background, text, and basic shapes. The link does not include your placed image. Anyone with the link can see the template settings in that link.
Exporting a template file saves a template description to your computer. Someone else can import that file to rebuild the template layout. The template file does not contain your placed image.
A template link or template file saves the design instructions. To save the finished image, use the image download button. That downloaded image file can then be sent, posted, emailed, or archived like any other image on your computer.
If you use the contact form, the message fields you submit are sent to Kyle's Canvas for response and support. Do not include sensitive images, confidential files, or private third-party information in a contact message.
